ETN is supported by AtlantOS, LifeWatch and COST.

The H2020 project AtlantOS funded several ETN meetings for the initiation phase (2017-2019).

The ETN data portal is developed by the Flanders Marine Institute as part of the Flemish contribution to LifeWatch, through FWO.

The ETN meetings, workshops and trainings are funded through COST for the second phase (2019-2022).
